We mourn the passing of our Founder, Harvey J. Gilbert, on August 25, 2025. A visionary in commercial real estate, Harvey founded Gilbert Realty in 2002 and later welcomed partners Stephen Ezelle and John Gilbert to help grow the firm. His unwavering commitment to integrity, excellence, and client care shaped the foundation of our company. We are profoundly grateful for his leadership and remain committed to honoring his legacy in the way we serve our clients and our community every day.

John Gilbert, CCIM is the Managing Broker at Cushman & Wakefield | Gilbert & Ezelle. He has over 10 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate brokerage. John graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University in 2009 and entered the commercial real estate industry in New Orleans working on retail, office, and industrial sales and leasing and investments sales. John works on all commercial real estate asset classes and focuses on investment sales and land development. He has been involved in the planning, development and sales/leasing of multiple notable local restaurants including Cotton & Rye, Husk, and The Grove. John serves on the Board of Directors of the Savannah-Hilton Head Realtors Commercial Alliance. He is also engaged in the local community serving on multiple non-profit Boards of Directors.
When not working, John enjoys playing golf, fly-fishing, and most especially spending time with his wife Bailee, their daughter Margaret and son Thomas.

Stephen D. Ezelle, CCIM, SIOR is a Partner at Cushman & Wakefield | Gilbert & Ezelle. He has specialized in the Savannah Industrial Market and Land sales throughout Coastal Georgia since 2003. Stephen earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation in 2007 and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) Designation as an Industrial Specialist in 2017. He is a licensed sales associate in Georgia and South Carolina as well as a Georgia State Registered Appraiser and Past President (2016) of the Savannah – Hilton Head Realtors Commercial Alliance as well as a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Ports and Intermodal Practice Group.

Will Arnold is an Associate at Cushman & Wakefield | Gilbert & Ezelle with a diverse background spanning sales, management, and executive leadership. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he began his career in sales and management with a Fortune Global 500 company, gaining valuable expertise in business development and strategic leadership. Prior to transitioning into real estate, Will served as an executive with a private regional medical equipment company, where he played a key role in company growth and operations.
In addition to his professional career, Will has been an active investor, owning and managing multifamily properties, recreational agricultural land, and timberland. His deep knowledge of both tenant and landlord representation allows him to deliver comprehensive, client-focused solutions in the commercial real estate market.
A native Georgian, Will has called Coastal Georgia home since 2010, residing on Skidaway Island with his wife and two children.

Katie Bird joined Cushman & Wakefield | Gilbert & Ezelle in July 2022, bringing more than 14 years of marketing expertise and over a decade of commercial real estate experience to the firm. Prior to joining the team, Katie worked for a high-producing Capital Markets team in the Atlanta Cushman & Wakefield office where she played a key role in the marketing and disposition of over $4 billion office and industrial assets across the Southeast.
A licensed real estate salesperson in Georgia, Katie combines creative positioning with market insight to help elevate property visibility and drive results for clients.

Ian Evans is an Associate at Cushman & Wakefield | Gilbert & Ezelle with nearly a decade of experience in leading large-scale site selection, land acquisition, and entitlement efforts for commercial real estate developments. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University and obtained his M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
In addition to his professional career, Ian enjoys spending time with his wife, Briana, and two children – Will and Sophie.
